On An Artsy Vibe

Its been a while hasn't it! What can I say life gets in the way and boy has my life changed in the last two years, separated from my(ex) husband, moved, new relationship started, moved again, eldest started college, now youngest set to go to college and eldest moved out! Phew! But finally after loosing my crafting mojo its finally coming back! 👋👋👋! Seems I am pretty good at the zentangle thingamy. It all started with a feather. I impressed even myself! 😎😍😍! Gotta love Pinterest for lots of inspiration and tutorials. It has released the flood gates... Of course I had to do something practical with all this art so as you can see I developed them into cards with bling gems to add sparkle (always need a bit of bling!😀!). In posting the pics on Facebook and Instagram I was spotted by a local Craft Shop (  Crafted In Moray  you rock!👌👌👌) and now my cards are adorning their shelves! Go social media!!!! ...

My Sketch Saturday challenge week 191

Every week a sketch is put on a blog with a challenge to make a project using it and this is my entry.... I used a "Lost and Found" designer papers. I stained a paper doily to make the skirt and gold voile ribbon. I stained the card edges with Tim Holtz Soot ink stamped the swirls with a pale brown ink. I embellished with Pearl gems and ribbon. The Best Wishes banner I made free hand.

Well over due update

Here is a few things I have been up to lately..... I am BATMAN!lol! I used an embossing folder for the cracked effect and just  cut a bat shape out and stained the edges with grey ink. I wrapped the birthday banner with chain to give it a bit more interest. I also made a matching bookmark using same techniques as the card then laminated it. This is a Drawer Card. I made a Butterfly template and stuck on assorted buttons. I made a enlarged matchbox and then attached an Easel Card to the top.  Really cute!

Shop till you drop!

I made a card for my friends daughter I used silver mirror board, pink and black card. I used a stamp set that I got free from a magazine and put glitter on the jeans. I embellished the card with silver brads and gems.

Popup Xbox

I made this card for my friends teenage son I just used grey dots made using my large hole punch and then used colored dots to represent those on the xbox controller ( checked with Google images so I got them the right way round!lol!) I just sketched a rough controller shape and cut it out then added embellishments so it looked like the real controller. I made a basic pop up insert in black the added the controller! Taadaah!

I made this card for my daughters friend. I made this for a work mate who was leaving. I made this card for my mums birthday. That is me now up to date! phew!!!!!!!

A massive update of projects!!! Part 1

I am majorly behind with posting up projects so I am going to do it all in one hit so here goes...... This is an angled easel card I made for our wedding anniversary. This is a wedding book card i made for a friend. This is an easel card with hidden tag card. this is an embossed and inked sympathy card I made for a friend.
