Tags and mini books part1


Here is a few little things I made for my girls ( the tags) and when my hubby had to go in to hospital (dont worry he is ok!!!) I made a little mini book for him just in case he forgot what we looked like! lol!




Both the tags were made using Tim Holtz Masks and  Distress Inks,then I stamped  separate torn pieces of paper  and embossed them. I add little clips and hung charms off them.


The mini book was made with the same techniques as the tags but used a Tim Holtz Die to cut the lock and Key.

I think they all turned out really well! I love the distressed look!!!!!!

Its been a while hasn't it! What can I say life gets in the way and boy has my life changed in the last two years, separated from my(ex) husband, moved, new relationship started, moved again, eldest started college, now youngest set to go to college and eldest moved out! I made a card for my friends daughter I used silver mirror board, pink and black card. I used a stamp set that I got free from a magazine and put glitter on the jeans. I embellished the card with silver brads and gems.

My Sketch Saturday challenge week 191

Every week a sketch is put on a blog with a challenge to make a project using it and this is my entry.... I used a "Lost and Found" designer papers. I stained a paper doily to make the skirt and gold voile ribbon. I stained the card edges with Tim Holtz Soot ink stamped the swirls with a pale brown ink. I embellished with Pearl gems and ribbon. The Best Wishes banner I made free hand.
